On November 14, 2009, Madrid hosted the First Meeting of Solidarity with the State Soviet people. The development of the meeting was held at the Casa de la Paz.
First assess as positive the fact of holding this meeting and noted that participation was expected even nurtured the political situation on the left in general and in particular the communist movement in our country.
The meeting began with an intervention in which it was a short introduction to Soviet solidarity in our country that was made by the House of Spain-USSR Friendship Barcelona and Madrid, organizations that disappeared when the counterrevolution triumphed in the USSR. He then explained the reason for the creation of an Association for Friendship with Belarus and the activities it has undertaken, with the completion in 2008 and 2009 for the celebrations of May 9, Victory Day in which participated Serguei Skvortsov First Secretary of the CPSU (not the CPSU who led Oleg Shenin). But despite the importance of solidarity with Belarus, the association of friendship with it, saw the need to extend solidarity to all the entire Soviet people, to meet all Soviet communists and patriots of the other republics of the former USSR and our contribution to international action. Therefore, from the Association of Friendship with the Republic of Belarus of Catalunya was a proposal for joint discussion with the comrades who participated in the meeting.
Read the proposal was followed by an interesting discussion on the need and why the creation of an organization of solidarity with the Soviet people. A solidarity that is not only moral but also at other levels, including solidarity with political prisoners who are now in jail for fighting for socialism and against the repression of the Communists by mafia-capitalist regimes that were installed in the former USSR through a coup. 1 - Choosing a name which will be recorded, after some discussion it was decided unanimously by Association Hispano Friendship - Soviet.
2 - may become members of the association all those who agree with our principles, whether born in our country, or people born in the republics former Soviet Union or in any other continent living in our country.
3 - Creating a blog provisional and mail contacts. The blog will be provisional until we have a future web.
4 - Approval of a line of work are:
a) Topics of the former USSR
b) Culture
c) The USSR's internationalist solidarity with the English Republic.
