megafraud vs megaplantón
Occupation of Paseo de la Reforma is much more than a nuisance for motorists who often use our most elegant way. It is a test of strength. Put more colloquially, it is playing a matured between the oligarchy, a small and powerful and the poor people, large and strong. Very strong.
This situation has come through a gradual process of abuse and contempt of law and democracy by the factual and class-based coalition government, party, money and media. Trials failed to false compensation billionaires landowners rode the infamous impeachment process, smear campaigns were launched and supported lying illegally from the executive and business sectors, was used to defectors from the PRI electoral experts tricky operations, an attempt was distort accounts of the boxes and districts, and the apparatus was used to induce a result IFE altered the account of the vote. Each of these attempts was dismantled and defeated with the formidable weapon of mass mobilization.
Now the matter has reached the final steps of due process. The electoral court can not simply punish the statement by the IFE, as might have been if the institution had acted with efficiency and transparency; now must address the serious national problem that is of doubtful results of the accounts and certainty that society is divided into two irreconcilable and that, according to the precepts of democracy, one should accept being ruled by another.
That is the serious problem that touches address the court. Its members necessarily feel the enormous pressure of historical responsibility. But beyond that, the court is not depressible. Not popular mobilization or by personal representation or blackmail or threats. Neither the status of judges and their associated integration permit.
Thus, popular mobilization is aimed at forcing a decision of the board members that they would not otherwise, but to show that the magnitude of the move is necessary and inevitable that the verdict is sustained in absolute transparency, general and unquestioned scrutiny. Therein lies the governance of Mexico. Governance not only negotiable majorities in Congress, but governance in its profound meaning of social peace.
But even remotely considered getting out of their cars, or venture into the slums, or ride the Metro or bus. That's not for them.
forget that a few weeks ago was the fifth time (68, 85, 88, 2005 and the campaigns of 2006) that the people of Mexico surpassed the propaganda campaign used to mediate their opinion and attitude towards the abuse of power . The people can not, yet, silence hysterical campaigns on radio, television and newspapers, but I can not hear. Now is heard. And take the Paseo de la Reforma.
thinking The middle class has been called renegade, and sometimes it is not of its kind, but of their commitment. It would be understandable dissatisfaction with the occupation of the Paseo de la Reforma if it were an isolated and willful, but is not the case. It is a response to aggression infinitely more serious and important, which is made on the popular will and which permitted, would result in the cancellation of democracy and the disruption of our society.
perceived only two circumstances that would lead to unemployment of the Paseo de la Reforma, that the dispute has been settled fully and legally, or that the street takes to be replaced by higher forms of popular resistance.
Forward, comrades. BY
